Startups selected to present solutions to airports
The aim is to improve the transportation of pets on airplanes; the Embratur initiative has the participation of 6 states
An initiative of Embratur has selected 10 startups to present technological solutions to airports. The aim is to improve pets on flights and real-time information, as well as automating baggage handling processes. Only 2 companies will be officially chosen.
Each will receive R$ 50,000 to put the plan to the test. Fifty-six proposals took part in the solution. The next stage is scheduled for August 8, when the entrepreneurs must defend their ideas to an evaluation committee.
The evaluation criteria take into account the business model, the potential for growth and expansion, the relevance of the project and the social and environmental impact.
The startups selected were:
- Atena ESG (SP);
- Audima (RJ);
- Autaza (SC);
- Blumaps (SC);
- Filazero (SE);
- Macnica DHW (SC);
- Mover Tech Ltda (RS);
- Opensenses (SP);
- Peoplexperience (SP);
- Strelo Airports (BA).
The president of Embratur, Marcelo Freixo, said that the change should transform tourists' experience in Brazil. "The first impression remains, and tourists who leave the airport with a good experience will be more inclined to visit more attractions and return home talking about the differential of Brazilian hospitality."he said.
The program is part of the "Brazilian Welcome ChallengeThis is an Embratur initiative in partnership with ABR (Brazilian Airports Association). The actions aim to increase the number of flights and, consequently, the number of tourists in the country. ABR will take part in the final selection, and will help liaise with the airport concessionaires.
The selection takes place on the LinkLab platform, run by Acate (Santa Catarina Technology Association).
